Model transition continues
Blavod has announced that it will no longer be acting as the UK distributor of the Mickey Finn brand on behalf of Babco Europe Limited. This marks a continuation of Blavod’s strategy of evolving from a blended operating model, which included distribution of third party Agency brands, to one focusing solely on the development of its own range of premium spirit brands, which is a higher margin and more profitable activity. Following this announcement, only two Agency brands, Heaven Hill and Branca, remain with Blavod. There are no changes to our forecasts, which have been predicated on the phased withdrawal from third party brand activities and the increase in revenues over time from the group’s premium own brand spirits.
