Webselenese – a key strategic acquisition

Kape has announced another transformational and accretive acquisition – this one is set to significantly accelerate organic growth prospects through its technology and knowhow in driving organic online presence with its knowledge of consumer behaviour, trends and demands. The acquisition of Webselenese (with whom Kape has an existing partnership) for U$149.1m on a cash free debt free basis, provides Kape with an online platform specialising in consumer-focused privacy and security content which has developed a broad global audience. It will bring Kape key insights on consumers’ thinking and buying trends, providing its product development with a key competitive edge in the fast-growing consumer digital privacy and security markets. We update our estimates to incorporate the deal and the guidance on FY 2021E estimates provided in the announcement.
