Rebecca Carr

Rebecca joins Progressive as a generalist research analyst, as well as working in a project-based role across the broader business. She brings a wealth of experience from her role as an analyst at Puma Investments. Her time on the buy-side was spent analysing and investing in AIM-listed small and mid-caps across a broad range of sectors. Prior to Puma Investments she worked in a variety of public and private companies. With a degree in English Literature and an art-based background, Rebecca is well-placed to help companies communicate with their investors and wider audiences. She also holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the CFA certificate in ESG Investing.

Rebecca Carr

Jeremy has a degree in economics and an MBA. He has been working in the City for over forty years, both as an investment manager and at a number of leading investment banks including Merrill Lynch and Investec. His passion is for meeting, investing in and advising small and mid-sized businesses – and his previous roles give him a vast array of experience on which to draw. Jeremy’s role at Progressive includes helping clients with their investment cases, providing high quality content to our subscriber base and giving the team a valuable macro “framework” within which to evaluate and position our customers’ propositions.

Jeremy McKeown

Keith began his capital markets experience working on the buy side in South Africa, trading equities for 8 years before moving onto portfolio management at PSG Kapital. He then helped to establish a hedge fund at AG Capital, before moving to the UK in 2018. Keith immersed himself in the UK capital markets and has built meaningful relationships with a broad range of investors. He has worked at Radnor Capital Partners and RMS Partners where he advised and helped Main market and AIM listed corporates in reaching the most suitable investors.

Keith Hodgskiss

Through her time working in the public, private and charity sectors, Oxford University graduate Katherine, brings a wealth of experience to the Progressive team.

She has enjoyed a variety of roles through her career, including Communications, Event Co-ordination, Operations Management, Marketing and Business Development.

A true ‘jack of all trades’ with a role difficult to pin down and define, Katherine is an integral member across all departments, and has helped to co-ordinate the team’s efforts since Progressive’s foundation.

Katherine Amos

Steve has around 25 years of equity research experience in supervisory and managerial roles. After a career in journalism, Steve started in research at Salomon Brothers in 1997, leading the European supervisory & publications team through the Global Analyst Research Settlement in 2003 and the firm’s transitions to Smith Barney and Citigroup before moving into research management and serving as Citi’s Deputy Head of EMEA Research. Steve then spent over 10 years at Jefferies, building the supervisory function and establishing research review standards as Global Head of Supervisory Analysts. Steve joined Progressive in October 2021 as Head of Research.

Steve Conn

Emily leads Progressive’s Investor Engagement offering, raising the profile of Progressive’s small and mid-cap client companies with often untapped pools of capital throughout the UK. She has extensive experience advising company management teams and fund managers on investor sentiment, shareholder analysis and targeting, as well as coordinating detailed investor roadshows.

Previously, she worked at Fidelity and Smith & Williamson Investment Management, selling their funds to the Private Client Fund Management market. She began her career in Financial PR at Penrose, (now MHP Communications), promoting a variety of Wealth and Asset Management companies to the media.

Emily is CISI level 6 qualified in Private Client Investment Advice & Management & has the Investment Management Certificate.

Emily Ritchie

Steve has around 25 years of equity research experience in supervisory and managerial roles. After a career in journalism, Steve started in research at Salomon Brothers in 1997, leading the European supervisory & publications team through the Global Analy

Steve Vaughan

Sue has many years’ experience in office administration, operations and customer service and has a great track record of making sure processes run smoothly. During her career, she has been employed in a variety of different client facing roles ensuring that high levels of cutomer satisfaction are achieved.

Sue Miller

Richard has over 30 years’ experience of working as both a corporate salesperson and as a research analyst, principally covering the Technology sector. He worked at Investec for a number of years where he led the marketing of many tech IPO’s, as well as looking after the firm’s twenty Technology clients. In additional to his supervisory role at Progressive, Richard is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Street Energy, the sustainable energy company.

Richard Dyett

Gareth has 25 years’ research experience covering the Technology sector.  An Oxford University graduate, Gareth qualified as an accountant before starting his research career covering the Pan European Chemicals sector at the American Investment Bank Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), later acquired by Credit Suisse. He then moved to cover the Technology sector at ABN AMRO, Canaccord and at Investec for eleven years, where he was Joint Head of Research. Gareth has received numerous awards for his work, including being voted techMark Analyst of the Year.
